In 2025, Patek Philippe introduces the Reference 5370R-001, a rose gold evolution of its split-seconds chronograph. This marks the first time the 5370 appears in rose gold, pairing classic case lines with a beautiful two-tone Grand Feu enamel dial. The warm brown backdrop contrasts elegantly with beige champlevé subdials and tachymeter scale, all executed on an 18K gold base.
The 5370R is powered by the CHR 29-535 PS, a manual wound movement developed entirely in-house. Rooted in traditional architecture—with a column wheel and horizontal clutch—it features seven patented innovations that improve chronograph performance and reliability. The split-second function is activated via a pusher integrated into the crown and operates with clarity and precision. Leaf-shaped rose gold hands, luminous coating, and Breguet numerals ensure functionality that matches the watch’s intricate beauty.
Visually, the 5370R-001 stands out with its concave bezel, satin-finished flanks, and a dark brown alligator strap secured by a patented rose gold triple-fold clasp. Replacing the platinum 5370P-011 in the current collection, this new reference doesn’t just add a color variation—it subtly redefines the character of one of Patek Philippe’s most admired Grand Complications.
