Nomos Glashütte’s Metro 33 watches, designed by Mark Braun, embody urban elegance and style, celebrating a blend of functionality and design. Inspired by cityscapes, each watch tells a distinct city story, using colors and materials that mirror elements like skyscrapers, red brick buildings, and city parks. For instance, the watches use silver to reflect skyscrapers, muted red to evoke red brick buildings, and sage to symbolize city parks.
The collection, marking its tenth anniversary, showcases watches in stainless steel that have intricately curved sapphire crystal glass, quick-change spring bars, and a uniquely adorned Metro crown, highlighting the exquisite craftsmanship. They feature playful details such as colorful hands and minute markers, enhancing their modern charm.
Each watch in the Metro 33 series is paired with a light gray vegan velour leather strap. They are powered by the hand-wound Alpha movement from Nomos, ensuring reliability and precise timekeeping, tailored to meet the demands of a bustling urban lifestyle. Braun sees these new models as embodiments of contemporary elegance—smart, playful, and energetic.
