The MU06 Mayura from MAURON MUSY is a bold leap forward in independent Swiss watchmaking—a limited edition of just 13 pieces that pushes the boundaries of both design and engineering. At its core lies a carbon-based coating developed for extreme environments like aerospace and motorsport. Now adapted for haute horlogerie, this advanced treatment protects the case and dial from scratches, oxidation, and wear, while giving each watch an unpredictable iridescent finish. Inside beats the MM02 calibre, MAURON MUSY’s first in-house micro-rotor movement. Christophe Musy approached the design like an architect, crafting a three-dimensional layout where structure, space, and light interact in perfect balance. The movement operates at 4 Hz with a 40-hour power reserve, featuring a tungsten micro-rotor for compact efficiency. It’s not just about performance—it’s about visual harmony, with bridges and openings that form a mechanical sculpture as much as a precision instrument.
Equally impressive is the brand’s patented nO-Ring® technology. This world-first sealing system delivers 100 meters of water resistance without a single rubber gasket, relying instead on mechanical precision across 29 custom components. It eliminates the aging issues of traditional seals, reducing long-term maintenance while aligning perfectly with MAURON MUSY’s no-compromise philosophy.
