Kross Studio marks its debut at Watches & Wonders Geneva with the MT1: Chronomètre Tourbillon 7 Jours, a timepiece shaped entirely in-house around the new KS 7010 MT caliber. Housed in a lugless, 44mm Grade 5 ELI titanium case, this skeletonized mechanical architecture is defined by a flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock and a COSC-certified chronometric performance. The oversized barrel maximizes the available space on the main plate, enabling a 7-day power reserve without a central pinion—a technical layout that underlines the movement’s originality and precision.
The dial side opens up a dynamic view of the manually finished components, where German silver bridges and dark ruthenium treatment create visual tension between shadow and shine. Backside, the “Raindrop” motif on the barrel bridge draws inspiration from Japanese minimalism, contrasting the front’s technical complexity with a meditative calm. This duality speaks to the creative vision of Marco Tedeschi and the studio’s intent to merge modern designs with traditional métiers.
Ergonomics complete the story. The case’s seamless profile, domed sapphire crystal, and rear-set crown eliminate visual clutter while improving wearability. A quick-change strap system, offered in leather, rubber, or textile, allows fluid transitions between styles. With the MT1, Kross Studio presents a distilled and functional expression of contemporary haute horlogerie—engineered, not decorated.
