In 2024, Kross Studio commemorates its first anniversary by expanding the KS 05 Stone Dials collection with new limited editions of 10 pieces in each variation. These new floating central tourbillon models, housed in a 45mm case, feature dials made from rare gemstones like Sodalite, Mahogany Obsidian, Violet Jade, Specular Hematite, Malachite, Lapis Lazuli, Maw Sit Sit Jade, and Ruby Heart.
At the heart of these watches is the patented KS 7’005 caliber, a manually-wound floating central tourbillon imagined by Marco Tedeschi. This movement, consisting of 220 components and 27 jewels, delivers exceptional performance with a 120-hour power reserve. Key innovations include a peripheral hour display mechanism and an ultra-light tourbillon cage made from grade 5 titanium.
The case, available in grade 5 titanium or 18-carat rose gold, has a circular-brushed finish, an integrated D-shaped crown, and an interchangeable strap system. The oversized domed sapphire crystal offers a clear view of the intricate dial and movement. Both versions, titanium or gold, can be fully paved, set with 281 D-F VVS1 quality pavé diamonds, totaling approximately 5.09 carats.
Each dial, made from various natural stones, presents unique colors and textures, making each watch a distinctive piece of art and engineering.
