Czapek & Cie, the Geneva-based independent watchmaker, has unveiled a stunning new limited edition of its Antarctique model, created in collaboration with GMT Great Masters of Time. A partnership that celebrates both Swiss precision and Italian elegance.
Limited to just 30 pieces, the Antarctique GMT Milano Edition features a 40.5mm stainless steel case and a distinctive grainy 4N gold dial—a signature color tied to GMT’s identity. The dial, made by Metalem, features a sophisticated texture achieved through a mix of stamping and satin finishing, enhanced by a galvanic gold plating process. At the core of this piece is Czapek’s in-house SXH5 movement, complete with a micro-rotor and an impressive 60-hour power reserve.
This collaboration carries personal meaning for Czapek CEO Xavier de Roquemaurel, who has strong ties to Italy’s design culture. For GMT Milano’s Jacopo Corvo, the timepiece highlights their passion for independent watchmaking and pays tribute to their signature 4N gold, an integral part of the company’s identity. Presented during Milano Watch Week, this limited edition is a rare gem available exclusively at GMT Milano’s boutique on Via della Spiga, a fitting location for this extraordinary release.
