Chopard’s Alpine Eagle Sunburnt is a 20-piece limited edition watch created in partnership with artist Shaun Daniel Allen (Shal) to honor Australia’s heritage. It features a “Sunburnt Red” dial, reminiscent of the Australian landscape, and is made with Lucent Steel™, a material that is at least 80% recycled, offering high resistance and hypoallergenic properties.
The Alpine Eagle Sunburnt houses the Chopard 01.01-C movement, visible through a sapphire caseback, which is Swiss chronometer-certified and has a 60-hour power reserve. Design elements include a gradient dial with a radiating pattern and rhodium-plated hands with Super-LumiNova® for visibility. Proceeds from the sales will benefit the Ngunya Jarjum Aboriginal Corporation, aligning with Chopard’s tradition of philanthropy. The collaboration with Shal merges fine watchmaking with art, presenting the watch as a collector’s item and a symbol of cultural respect and sustainability.
