Alpina adds a new reference to the Alpiner Extreme Automatic series, this time introducing a glacier-inspired blue dial. The icy hue, a blend of light grey and blue, recalls the brand’s alpine roots and reinforces the connection between design and terrain. Housed in a 39×40.5mm cushion-shaped steel case, the watch balances everyday wearability with a discreet nod to sportier design. Inside ticks the AL-525 automatic movement, offering a 38-hour power reserve and date display at 3 o’clock, framed by Alpina’s signature triangular dial motif.
The case combines vertical satin brushing on the bezel with circular satin finishing on the cushion midcase and mirror polishing along its edges. These details extend across the bracelet, reinforcing the watch’s refined yet tool-oriented character. The bold shape—neither round nor square—anchors the design in Alpina’s commitment to precision craftsmanship with a twist of originality.
Function meets form in practical features like the luminous-treated hands and markers, a rubber-grip crown, and a 200m water resistance rating. The sapphire crystal is anti-reflective, and signature triangular cues appear across the dial, crown, and bezel screws—quiet but purposeful symbols of the brand’s alpine DNA.
